Digital Marketing Specialist (Global eCommerce) is looking for a talented, passionate individual with the ability and desire to learn international digital marketing best practices. The Digital Marketing Specialist will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and possess outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills. They will partner with our Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, Designer, fellow Digital Marketing Specialists and others to develop marketing assets across multiple marketing channels. They must be able and eager to manage multiple responsibilities.

This individual will contribute to improving our current global footprint from a tactical and strategic level and support various digital marketing channels. They will work with each channel lead to learn the latest and most successful marketing strategies in the business. They'll promote our B2C and B2B shopping and shipping services, as well as U.S. merchandise, through our apps, browser extensions, and website. Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Create ad and email copy and creatives, landing pages, press releases, and website copy to achieve marketing goals

  • Provide marketing support for our new shopping and shipping products, including market research and strategy development     

  • Assist Director of Marketing in Search Engine Marketing (ad writing/testing, reporting, campaign and landing page optimization for our PPC, GDN and Paid Social campaigns)

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to expand and develop our extensive CRM strategy

  • Analyze data across multiple channels and develop insights against key KPIs for channel owners

  • Launch and promote brand awareness campaigns (from traditional public relations to cause marketing or giveaways)

  • Support strategic marketing efforts for business partnerships

  • Assist with social media marketing strategy and execution

This job will teach the A-Zs of digital marketing and cross-border e-commerce. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the marketing team, helping execute strategy and report on campaign results while learning some of the key elements behind success with world-class digital marketers who are experts in their fields.

The Digital Marketing Specialist Will:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 1-year previous work experience in digital marketing

  • Strong understanding of and interest in current digital marketing concepts, trends, strategies and best practices

  • Ability to work with, analyze and present data (Google Analytics, CRM, Optimizely and Adwords experience a plus)

  • Experience copywriting for e-commerce sites and other media channels

  • Ability to track and work towards business goals and KPIs

  • Be comfortable taking initiative to find and solve problems, and take lead on projects

  • Be eager to learn and grow, be hungry to succeed

  • Be passionate about international marketing and not afraid to speak up


Desired Skills:

Any experience in the below areas is a bonus:

  • Understanding and implementation of SEO best practices

  • App/browser extension marketing

  • Experience planning campaigns from strategy through to execution

  • Experience drafting press releases and working with a PR agency

  • Basic technical understanding of websites (you know HTML and understand tracking/website analytics)
